hey

great track bro :P

FlamingFirebolt responds:

Yo thanks bro!

naiss

I liked it tho, theres one thing I dont like in particular which is ocean (or often birds) in the background. It's so cheap xD
anyways good job

landscapers1 responds:

lol seagulls
there are children on the beach.
I know it's a little cheap, but I had not any other sea samples... btw take a look on the title x)
Thanks anyway!

Pretty good

yeah but I think that snare drum should stand out more, in most cases it should be more puncy and louder than kick drum in dnb.
Good luc

Fredgy responds:

also again .. :)
in my list of points i want to do yet ;)
but that's all for after my exam periode ;)
thanks though

haha

Sounded like a russian accent from usa movies

Mich responds:

Haha, I guess that's sort of a good thing, in one way.

On the other hand though, I want to reduce my accent as much as possible.

what a boring track

Alright I dig the drums are nice and glitchy and keep changing so it doesn't get boring and the melody is pretty nice. It's probably the best track I've heared in a while but there is one thing I lack.. Where is the spirit? Where is the spirit of the song? I don't understand

>:3

SessileNomad responds:

the spirit....i thought i did pretty good in that department...

idk exactly what you mean..spirit can mean many things xD

i approve

bam bam bam bam

SessileNomad responds:

horray

I wish you get better

where is the kick drum? Anyway this song is terrible. All the sound are basically in the same frequency range which makes it noisy. Also everything is looping and nothing is going on, you are not fooling anyone to liking this song

XOplazm responds:

The reason why everything is looping is because this is a "Loop". also, I'd rather have it loud and noisy than super quiet that nobody can hear it. I'll try to fulfill your complaints in my next song. Thnx 4 b31ng honest, th0ugh.

Quality

Nice track, very good quality and nice composition (:

sorohanro responds:

Thnak you.
I just tried some new plugins and a new version of Mu.Lab (my main DAW), I consider that is quite good quality but I have much better ones ;)

Not sure if like

This track has potential. I don't like something about the quality of the drums. Maybe you should remove any reverb you aplied for them. Drum composition is kind of complicated. Ofc, it is nice, but it could done better. You used a lot of rolling snares, they were main thing all through the song, I listen for for third time and it feels you kind of abused them or maybe it gets repeatitive(after 1:20). I think you should spend some more time and finish it. Jazz instruments add very nicely, you should come up with an ending

Chozz responds:

Yeah man, I have listened to this over and over. And the snares seem to be dominant thing.

I think i'm going to let this song sit for a while, then come back to it and change and modify.

Thanks for the review.

Too fast

Composition and quality is pretty good.. But presonally I try to avoid if my track becomes somethign like this.. I often start with 180bpm but then slow it down to get better groove. I mean it is neat but everything feels like speeded up, especially that dance gated lead, like at doesn't sound serious. I think it would sound much better at 160- 180bpm IMO :|
I'm not sure how to say it but I hope you get what I mean

Rawrthaas responds:

I think Quarl said it best.. this isn't for a casual dnb listener :p. 160 bpm and it would be a sissy song. I meant it when I said it was in the vein of the song Mei, which is similar to this and is actually 200 bpm.

thanks for your review :)
