I like the second part more than the first. :P
great track
amazing work with keyboard man. Great track. One thing about your songs is that your drums for some reason do sound like from 70s pop songs.. with afros. I am not saying that there is anything wrong with it. Percussion is very good in this track and there is also that oldschool drum feel
Wow, thanks!
Also, songs can have afros now? That is so cool :D.
I'm glad you like the percussion, thanks a lot!
Sad
Steve jobs would be proud of you but what's the point man... What's the point now? You should have spent all your time and energy to make him happy while he was still arround us. Did he even know that you existed? I don't think so
Thanks you for your review, eatmeatleet.
I knew of his existence maybe a year before Pirates of Silicon Valley came out. As much as Steve wanted to reach out to everyone across the globe, I find that it'd be a dream if he actually had known of and visited NewGrounds.
In the afterlife he can start receiving our giving back to him, all at once!

hmm
not bad, could have more bass instruments though
yep
lol
nice one. I think you got this round!
I don't think so.
Thank though.
haha
I heard that beginning synth somewhere. Sylenth1?
Song has weird structure but at least got that dnb part at 3 mins, that's my favorite one. Yeah! Definitely need more of that .
Funny, because I don't even use Sylenth1. It's actually a low end bass from AM Freehand with a flanger over it. As for the structure, it's focused more on downbeat drum & bass, compared to the heavy and dark sound you hear in most songs.
holy shit
that's some nice clash of genres
Thank you! Combine the things you love and the outcome will be more than double!
bad
whats up with drums not even synced well. Or am I not getting this modern art? Impossible to get into groove
Yeah... they are unquantized on purpose. I feel they groove pretty well personally.

too much reverb for this genre imo. Also, panning seemed too much to the left or my headphones just broke once again
Not bad compositions, it sounds pretty oldschool. Did you use midi channels?
im experimenting with reverb since i don't want it to sound flat, but i guess i used too much here,eh? the panning is to the left only because my right speakers are broken, and i need to fix it. oldschool was exactly what i was going for,i've always loved having a taste of pure jazz in my songs. i use Finale to make music, which uses a sophisticated version of midi,Smartmusic SoftSynth. so i guess you could say i used midi channels.
