Also I don't learn music at school officially (or anywhere officially except from a very slow moving elderly woman down the street).

This is a school project that requires all students to take on a subject from Responsible Citizenship, Environmental Values or Aesthetics, and make a project out of it that includes either activities such as community work, interviews, etc... or an 'artefact' which is basically something you've produced yourself. Obviously I took Aesthetics and chose to make a piece of music :3.

It's a lot more complex than that. I still have to do loads of interviews, write journal entries, etc... but at least I've got this over and done with haha.

regarding this song, its more than finished, its an artistic choice to make things the way i do. Especially in this song where things are weird, a weird abrupt ending is more than appropriate.

Your music sound like trance some 10- 20 years back. Could have used different plucks and constructed drums differently to my liking. Sorry I just spend listening radio at work like 8 hours per day. It burned my brain

you guys should get into mainstream music since you are so good. I have no idea what is good or bad but wtf. .dry vocals. Why?

I don't know to how much reverb you're used to hearing in other's songs vocals, but the vocals in this aren't completely dry. They do have slight reverb among other things. We wanted to keep her voice sounding as natural as possible as if she was singing to her children. Adding too much of it wouldn't have been ideal as it would have given an echo effect that would take away from the song.

Either way I'm glad you liked it, and thank you for the compliment from all of us!
