not bad. First funk track in the competition. Bass could have more mid range imho. But really nice talking guitar and shit. I wish I could compose like that. Could have more of breakdowns but yeah not bad you might win

not bad. Everything is fine maybe except the ticking. Also could have even more arpeggios and more heavy leads for the newgrounds taste

The ticking is what inspired the song, without it, the rest wouldn't be there, so it was rather unavoidable.

As for more arpeggios/heavy leads, yeah, I've never been much good at layering stuff to any great extent, this song only really has 3 synths total (Arp, lead, bass), rest is percussion. I'm working on making songs a bit more full though, I've got a couple song ideas in the works that add a few more layers than normal (Normal for me that is).

guess why it lagged? Because it was fuycking clippping, the tune is overcompressed, volumes are too high with a limiter thrown on top. Good composition though but make it listenable
