Great point! I actually didn't realize that I had a limiter turned on while I was writing until about a week after I released this piece. I started to fixing the levels, but I just got too busy working on other things! The piece might just have to stay like this for the time being :( One day I'll fix it though!

I really don't like the quality, sounds terrible. So much random unneeded reverb, too heavy on mid frequencies. Song is nice but not enjoyable. You should ask someone to help you with mastering it if you put a lot of effort

Yeah I know how to, but I'm deaf from one ear so I can't catch some frequencies, and can't catch clipping, etc... Basically I have to turn the volume down as far as I can without it sounding too quiet and then hope the clipping isn't too overbearing :P.

hmm, feels unfinished but whatever. As for a dnb track, pure-metaluta should gave you better score, maybe 7 or 8. Drum construction was nice. Evolving synths were cool but I think that most judges not gonna be aware of them. I guess without pleasing transitions and good structure you ain't gonnna get much

I didn't hear that sub bass because I am on shitty headphones (they are actaully are supposed to have the bass up to 20hz but they lied.. nvm that) nyway I think it's gonna be close but you should beat the crap out of nubbinz
